Joachim RoeserJOACHIM ROESER—CEO/Managing Director
Joachim joined on 30th October 2006 as CEO of the Amber Group and Managing Director of The Amber Chemical Company Limited. He is a German national with a degree in chemistry and has lived and worked in Belgium, Germany and France. Prior to joining Amber he was President and CEO of Luzenac, a Rio Tinto subsidiary and prior to this he was European President for Ferro Corporation. He had previously held a number of senior management positions in the European chemical industry.

Peter BestPETER BEST—Chief Financial Officer
Peter joined Amber on 1st November 2007. Peter originally qualified in Mechanical Engineering and spent some time working for Rolls Royce Aero-engines in Bristol before qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG. He then moved to Wagon plc where he held a number of positions ranging from Group Financial Controller to Divisional Finance Director and included some time in General management. Following his time with Wagon he joined the Linde AG group and was UK and Ireland Group Finance Director for their Refrigeration Division. Peter joined us from Linde Material Handling where he was the UK and Ireland Group Finance Director. He has considerable experience in corporate control and development including acquisitions and disposals.
